Getting there
From Johannesburg:
- GPS co-ordinates – s 24 47 48,2 o 30 37 38,9
- Take Witbank – Middleburg Highway, passed Boksburg & Benoni.
- Pass a Steers and garage there will be one on either side of the highway
- Pass a casino on your left
- Go through a Toll plaza
- Pass an Ultra city
- Travel for approximately 80km and take the BELFAST off ramp. Turn let into Belfast. At 3rd stop street turn right and follow DULLSTROOM.
- When you reach Dullstroom, travel straight through the town, follow LYDENBURG/MASHISHING.
- You will travel approximately 55km and you will see Lydenburg town on your left in the distance. The road you will be on will come to a T-Junction, turn left into Viljoen Street and enter Lydenburg/Mashishing) town.
- Travel straight, go through 2 stop streets, go straight till you come to a robot turn left at robot, into Potgieter Street. (landmarks at robot – Spur on left). Travel straight – do not turn right do not turn left, just straight, stay in Potgieter rd, this road bends and becomes De Clerq, (Martins funeral services on left.), stay in De Clerq, you will come to a robot go straight, cross over Voortrekker Rd, go straight through stop streets till you reach a Total garage and the last stop street in Lydenburg, go straight over Buhrman Street.
- You are now leaving Lydenburg town and travelling on the R36 towards Ohrigstad, Tzaneen. Do not turn right do not turn left, stay straight on the R36.
- Calculate approximately 40km once you have left town till you see the following: a white and blue farm stall on the road called “Pure Plaas”, then a sign saying “Ohrigstad 10km” start driving slowly, LOOK OUT FOR a sign saying BOSCHOEK to the right, immediately after that sign will be a river sign saying Mantsibi river, and you will cross a white bridge, IMMEDIATELY AFTER CROSSING THE BRIDGE TURN RIGHT ONTO THE 1ST SAND ROAD!!!
- Cross a railway line and travel at 40km, the road is full of stones and we get LOTS OF PUNCTURES SO PLEASE TRAVEL SLOWLY!!!!!!, follow the dirt road till you come to a boom, there will be a sign saying Crystal Springs and Nooitgedaght Farm 12km.
- Follow this road do not turn off this road, you will pass a turnoff to your right saying Crystal Springs, GO STRAIGHT!!!, follow the road till you come to a cattle grid and another sign saying that you are entering private property. Drive over the cattle grid and keep left, go straight till you come to the farm house.
