At Matibidi we offer you two exceptional African Wedding Packages to choose from.Whether it’s a quiet, elegant affair, or an upmarket event with all the trimmings, we can assist to make your dream wedding come true. Book your wedding with us and we’ll work with you to ensure all the details are taken care of.
We have a choice of venues for you to choose from. Our experienced wedding co-ordinators are available on site to ensure your special day is a magical and memorable event. We can arrange a Commissioner of Oath or you can bring along your own priest, pastor or rabbi. We will take care of the flower arrangements for the tables and bouquet for the bride, photographs, menu, music and anything else you desire. Relax in the knowledge that your special day will be handled with professional care and attention to detail.

AFRICAN SUNSET WEDDING PACKAGE (prices on request)
We’ve captured the romance and majesty of an African sunset in this Wedding Package for you. Our African Sunset Wedding Package has been designed to suit most budgets and covers just about all you will need to enjoy your wedding in complete style.
Package includes:
- Welcome packs and refreshing drinks on arrival for all your guests
- Complimentary champagne and fruit basket for the bridal couple
- Gown and slippers for the bridal couple
- The Bridal couple will be upgraded to the Aloe Premier Suite from the eve of the wedding
- Commissioner of Oaths
- Standard wedding cake
- “Thank you” chocolates in the room on the eve of the wedding for all your guests
- A complimentary weekend stay for your first wedding anniversary (Subject to availability)
ROYAL AFRICAN WEDDING PACKAGE (prices on request)
All that it means to be royalty has been included in our Royal African Wedding Package. This premier package has been tailored to suit your requirements. Relax and enjoy the royal treatment as we take care of all the details for you.
Package includes:
- Johannesburg - Matibidi return transfers in a bus
- Welcome packs and refreshing drinks on arrival for all your guests
- Complimentary champagne and fruit basket for all the rooms
- Gown and slippers for the bridal couple
- The Bridal couple will be upgraded to the Aloe Premier Suite from the eve of the wedding

Guest Numbers
Please note you are not restricted to 25 guests. We can accommodate up to 50 guests at accommodations in surrounding properties. (Subject to availability) Transfers to and from your function will be arranged.
The Conference room
Our banquet area has a seating capacity of 50 guests banquet style and is surrounded by glass shutter doors which allows the natural light to filter in, adding romance to your function. The deck overlooks the magnificent view and is perfect for photography. Allow us to set up your nuptials on the viewing deck surrounded by rose petals and your close family and friends.
Cuisine
Our cuisine is of an impeccable standard, freshly prepared daily. Choose from our extensive range of buffet or A la Carte menus. Menus are provided on request. We can also tailor make a menu to suit your budget, religious requirements and taste preferences. Please contact us so we can discuss your requirements.
Floral Arrangements and Bouquets
Arrange for us to take care of your floral arrangements for the tables and the bouquets for your retinue. We will transfer the flowers to our lodge so that you have nothing to worry about on your big day.
